Tony Blair has suddenly discovered the importance of science. He has been talking to the
Guardian about it, making a speech in Oxford and talking to the
New Scientist magazine. The
Guardian has a report on the latter. The Guardian's links to related articles seem to make a mockery of government claims of seeking to encourage young people to take up science. I have no idea if the irony is intended.
